The mission of Mt. Kenya Conservation Forum is to protect and promote conservation of nature through sustainable and participatory approaches (community based conservation) for the benefit of the local, national and global communities. 

 

               Stakeholders' Participation

 

To accomplish this mission we shall work with all stakeholders nationally and internationally, including the local community groups, concerned individuals, businesses, professionals, academia, corporates, relevant government organizations, conservation organizations and institutions that support protection and conservation of nature.

 

In particular we shall work to ensure local people benefits from conservation through sustainable utilization of natural resources.
